Captain Blaze, the man who lost his pregnant wife due to his inability to meet up with hospital bill requirements, has responded to criticism from journalist Reuben Abati.
Recall that his wife Kemi, tragically passed away after a private hospital reportedly demanded a N500,000 deposit before offering treatment.
In an emotional video shared online, Captain Blaze explained that he had taken his wife to the hospital, but they refused to attend to her without the full deposit.
He pleaded for them to begin treatment while he sourced the remaining funds, but his request was denied.
He then rushed her to a general hospital in Epe, but sadly, she passed away before they arrived.
Captain Blaze added that he had saved N100,000 for their wedding but could not afford the N500,000 demanded by the hospital.
He also revealed that he already had children before this tragic event.
This comes after Reuben Abati criticised Captain Blaze, saying he should have been financially prepared for childbirth, especially as a father.
