As a result of this, Nigerians and other civil society groups have decided to hit the streets to air their grievances and make their voices heard.
Leading the early demonstrations is popular social media influencer Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan.
He was spotted carrying a placard and protesting alongside his friend, capturing the attention of many with his visible and vocal stance.
