The Nigerian Government has reportedly cut off power supply to Ghana, which has plunged the West African country into darkness.

The Ghanaian government last week announced a three-week power interruption due to a reduction in gas supply from Nigeria.

However, fresh reports indicate that the power supply was intentionally cut off due to an alleged debt exceeding 300 million dollars owed to Nigeria.

Niger, Benin and Togo are also in line to be cut off due to debt.
