Nigerian governor declares Monday work free day


The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has declared Monday, September 23, 2024, a public holiday in commemoration of the state’s 37th anniversary.

This was contained in a statement signed by Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong.

The statement urged residents to join in the celebration of the state’s creation.

All relevant institutions and individuals are expected to comply.
