The son of a sitting governor in Nigeria has been implicated in a murder case in India, Dockaysworld reports.
This development was brought to light by Investigative Journalist, Pidom Nigeria on X.
The incident was said to have occurred in a nightclub where a fight, reportedly over a woman, escalated into violence.
According to the journalist, the governor’s son used a bottle as a weapon, leading to the death of an individual.
The accused is said to be currently in detention in India.
Despite the governor’s efforts to leverage his influence and diplomatic channels to resolve the matter, all attempts have been unsuccessful.
Even the offer of a huge financial settlement, running into billions, to the victim’s family has been rejected.
The identity of the governor has not been revealed yet.
