#Justiceforchristianah: Nigerians demand justice for 300l female student murdered by alleged serial killer


Nigerians are calling for justice following the tragic murder of Christianah Idowu, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Idowu was allegedly murdered and buried in a shallow grave by her friend, Adeleye Ayomide, a 200-level Philosophy student at Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Adeleye who has been tagged as a serial killer has reportedly having allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his own sister in 2020.

His parents were reportedly aware of his actions.

Twitter influencer, @Letter_to_Jack brought the incident to light on social media.

According to reports, Christianah was declared missing on August 19, 2024.

Her family had received a ransom demand after photos of her in captivity were sent via WhatsApp, Dockaysworld gathered.

Despite complying with some of the demands, communication with the abductors ceased after August 23.

Investigators eventually tracked the suspect through financial transactions linked to the ransom.

Adeleye was arrested at his parents’ house in Ikorodu, Lagos, after his phone activity was traced.

During the arrest, Christianah’s phone and other incriminating evidence were found in his possession.

He later confessed to the murder, and investigations are ongoing to confirm his involvement in the previous deaths.

The case has sparked outrage on social media, with many Nigerians demanding swift justice for Christianah and the other victims.
