NYSC revokes discharge certificates of 100 corps members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has declared invalid the discharge certificates of ninety-nine corps members and two exempted persons mobilized from the University of Calabar.

This was contained in a circular sighted by Dockaysworld.

According to the scheme, these individuals were fraudulently mobilized by UNICAL during the 2021, 2022, and 2023 service years.

The NYSC Management reiterated its dedication to preventing the recognition of unqualified individuals, including those purportedly graduating from unaccredited institutions.

Members of the public are also advised to verify the authenticity of Certificates of National Service, Exemption, and Exclusion Letters with the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.
