Kogi REC has announced that the collation of election results that took place in the state on Saturday will start by 10 a.m. today
The Residential Electoral Commissioner (REC) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kogi state, Dr. Gabriel Longpet has announced that collation of the results of the governorship election held in the state on Saturday will start by 10 a.m. today.
Longpet revealed this in an interview with newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi state.
Recall that Dockaysworld reported the Saturday governorship election held in Kogi across 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
However, reports of electoral malpractices were received by the officials of the electoral body in the state.
According to INEC, the incident of pre-filled result sheets is an important matter, leading to the decision to suspend elections in some areas.
