Early Life

Olamide was born on March 15th, 1989 in Bariga, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Growing up in a modest household with his parents, Olamide had always dreamed of becoming a rapper.

However, it wasn’t until later in life that he pursued his passion to make a name for himself in the music industry.

Education

For his primary and secondary school, the rapper attended a high school in Bariga, Lagos Nigeria.

After which, he later went on to attend Tai Solarin University of Education, where he studied Mass Communication.

In an interview with TVC News, badoo revealed that he had to drop out of the university due to financial constraints.

Olamide comes from a polygamous family and is the second child of his father, Pa Adedeji, and mother, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji, who is his father’s second wife.

He has two siblings named Temmygold and Eniola Olamilekan, who is also known as DJ Enimoney. DJ Enimoney is the official DJ of Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation.

Music Career

Badoo music career began in his teenage years when he started rapping on the streets and competing in rap battles around 2010.
