The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has married his fifth wife in the person of Olori Princess Aderonke Ademiluyi, with a sixth bride not far along.
In the space of two months the king has married 5 wives, with most married back to back, few days or weeks between.
The latest wedding held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his palace in lle-Ife, Osun State. The Oba was however absent from the proceedings as he had been for the other marriages.
The wedding come five days after he married his fourth wife, Princess Ashley Adegoke, on October 15.
According to reports, Princess Ademiluyi has known the King before he ascended throne in 2015.
The London-trained lawyer is a very well known entrepreneur who shuttled between the UK and Nigeria, among other things.
Recall the the Ooni, also married former WMUA beauty Queen Tobi Phillips as his third wife.
The seemingly final wife in the recent series is Princess Temitope Adesegun with whom the monarch will be tying the knot in the coming days.
