The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has married Princess Ashley Adegoke on October 14th, making her his 4th wife, 2nd in a matter of days.
Oba Adeyeye ties the knot just 5 days after he married the ex-beauty Queen, Tobi Phillips.
Like in the previous marriage, the Ooni himself was not present but the rites were performed with his royal staff, chiefs and guards representing him.

The event took place in Ile Ife, Osun State. This makes the Princess his 4th wife with two more expected in the coming days.
Recall that Queen Mariam became the Osun monarch’s first wife after their wedding ceremony in September.
Days after the wedding ceremony, Queen Elizabeth Ogunwusi was betrothed to him in Magodo, Lagos.
Tobi Phillips became Ooni’s third wife following their wedding ceremony on October 9, 2022.
This is however Ooni’s seventh marriage. Oba Adeyeye was previously married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008, but the marriage failed in 2016 after his coronation.
He then married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, the union lasted for 17 months before their separation.
His fourth marriage was to Naomi Silekunola in 2018. She however announced her separation from the monarch in December 2021.
