Parents Reject Official Cause of Death As 2-Year-Old Drowns in Ajah

A heartbreaking incident has been reported by a Twitter user identified as Abia Princess, who revealed the tragic death of her two-year-old daughter under suspicious circumstances at her school.

According to the mother, the child had attended school on January 15, 2025, the day after celebrating her birthday, only for the family to be informed later that the little girl had drowned in the school’s swimming pool.

However, Abia Princess claims that further examination of her daughter’s body raised suspicions of electrocution, not drowning.

“Dear Lagos State Government,
Our two-year-old daughter went to school yesterday and did not return home alive.

How do you allow a swimming pool in a school premises without proper monitoring? They lied to us that she drowned, but we’ve discovered she was electrocuted and placed in the pool to cover up their negligence.

The pool is barricaded. How could a two-year-old climb over it?

Please help us get justice for our baby. She just celebrated her second birthday last November and was perfectly fine when she left for school on January 15, 2025, only to never return alive. Now, the school is lying to other parents, claiming they’ve closed for maintenance instead of admitting the truth.

If no action is taken to shut down that school, other parents may face this same tragedy.”
