Peter Obi reacts to lawmakers receiving expensive vehicles
Lp's flagbearer says it wouldn't be possible if he were the president

The Labour Party presidential candidate in the previous election, Peter Obi has reacted to the news of lawmakers receiving official vehicles worth over N100 Million Naira.

In a recent press conference, the former governor expressed his stance on the news saying that no lawmakers would have thought of owning an official SUV if he were the president.

Recall Dockaysworld reported that the House of Representatives is set to purchase and distribute about 300 Prado SUVs that are worth N130 Million Naira each, to Its members.

In a statement disclosed by the House’s spokesperson on Sunday in Abuja, the decision was said to have aligned with the current procurement laws and that it was a usual practice in previous assemblies.
