“Rest in peace, sis. Pat Ugwu. @patpat_ugwu so we never got to work together? Death, why? God, please . Rest in peace, Pat. May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.”

While the cause of her death remains undisclosed, the loss has left a profound impact on those who knew and admired her work. Pat Ugwu, known for her vibrant on-screen presence, was steadily making a name for herself in Nollywood. Her sudden departure has left a void in the industry, with many struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.

As the film community continues to grieve, her family has set the dates for her burial: February 6th and 7th, 2025.

Her passing comes at a time when Nollywood is already grappling with another loss—that of veteran actor Asa Koko, whose death was recently announced by his colleague Kunle Afod.

As tributes continue to pour in, Pat Ugwu’s legacy as a promising star will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her work.
