President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for a private visit to Paris, France, before proceeding to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This was announced in a statement on Wednesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, President Tinubu will participate in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State, scheduled to take place from February 12 to 16, 2025, in Addis Ababa.
“The president will arrive in Addis Ababa early next week for the African Union summit,” the statement read.
During his stay in France, President Tinubu is also expected to hold a meeting with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron.
