The Police Service Commission has named Olohundare Moshood Jimoh as the new Commissioner of Police for Lagos State.
His appointment was confirmed on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Before this role, Jimoh was in charge of the Ports Authority, Eastern Ports.

He has also served in several key positions, including Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner at Airport Police, and Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration.
Originally from Kwara State, Jimoh has received training in various security operations both locally and internationally.
His experience includes courses on combat operations, counterterrorism, maritime security, and anti-hijacking tactics in countries such as the United States, China, and South Korea.
He has also been recognized with a Presidential Award for Public Relations Personality of the Year by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
His confirmation was overseen by the Commission’s Chairman, Hashimu Argungu, along with Justice Adamu Paul Galmuje and Taiwo Lakanu.
