Rivers Chairmen Visit Fubara At Private Residence As Fresh Detail Of Visit Emerge


On Wednesday, former chairmen from all 23 Local Government Areas in Rivers State visited Governor Siminalayi Fubara at his private residence in Port Harcourt to express their unwavering support.

According to a statement by Nelson Chukwudi, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, the delegation was led by Hon. Prince Ezebunwo Ichemati, former Mayor of Port Harcourt City and past chairman of the Association of Local Government Chairmen in Nigeria (ALGON), Rivers State Chapter.

During the visit, the former chairmen reaffirmed their loyalty to the Governor and urged the people of Rivers State to continue supporting him despite ongoing challenges.

They also prayed for divine protection over the Governor, stating the need for unity and adherence to the law to prevent political adversaries from advancing their agendas.
