Saad Umar (Bauchi State)

Chukwuemeka C. Ibeziako (Anambra State)

President Tinubu cited Section 154(1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) as the basis for their nomination.

He also clarified that this letter replaces a previous one issued on March 12, as he has now approved Umar Mukhtar’s reappointment for a second term as Borno State’s REC.

The President urged the Senate to review and confirm the nominees promptly.
