Popular Nigerian singer Bnxn formerly known as Buju, has allegedly been beaten by officers of the Nigerian Police in Lagos State.
Buju in a series of tweets, which have now been deleted, stated that he’d felt good after spitting on a policeman.
The artiste alleged that he’d been assaulted and his shirt torn by the security operatives after he’d let them into his car.
A video has now emerged of the incident showing an agitated Buju in his singlet surrounded by multiple policemen.
Recall that Bnxn stated that he’d changed the name simply to avoid his intellectual property being taken from him. He stated that his previous name, Buju, was still acceptable to him.
