Human Rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has listed fifteen tactics President Bola Tinubu’s government allegedly employed to stop the Endbadgovernance protests from happening.
Recall that Nigerians since August 1 have been hitting the streets to protest against economic hardship, bad governance and hunger.
Saturday, August 10 is the grand finale of the protest and will conclude with a one-million man march across all the 36 States and Federal Capital Territory.
Taking to his Twitter page, the former presidential candidate said the president tried all these devices but failed to stop the protests from happening.
He tweeted:

4. Using maximum Force by Police, Military and DSS
5. Forging Signatures of protest leaders to issue false Press Statements.
6. Freezing bank accounts of protest organizers
7. setting up phoney groups that kept on lying that “they are pulling out” of a protest they were never part of
8. getting the Chief of Defence Staff to threaten journalists not to cover the revolt
9. Creating an illegal “WATCHLIST” to witch-hunt Diasporan Nigerians
10. Shooting teargas and live ammunition at and killing protesters
11. Pushing propaganda of foreign sponsorship and alleged use of Russian flags
12. Getting ridiculous court’s exparte orders to confine protesters to government-designated locations
13. Promoting ethnic, sectional, and religious sentiments to divide revolting Nigerians
14. Accusing the North of sabotage and betrayal
15. Attempting to cause division between Yorubas and Igbos by instigating “IgboMustGo”
