State governor approves allowance for pensioners

Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State has approved a N10,000 harmonization allowance for pensioners across the state.

This decision follows the presentation of a pension report by the Head of Civil Service, Elijah Evenemi.

The governor reassured pensioners that his administration remains committed to their welfare, continuing the policies of his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

Additionally, pensioners earning less than N50,000 will be included in the state’s health insurance scheme.
