The flooding problem in Nigeria has worsened with Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro becoming one of the places submerged in water.
In a trending video obtained by Dockaysworld, students can be seen lamenting the state of the school with major buildings nearly submerged.
In the video a student can be heard pointing out the buildings that have become waterlogged, including the school library and the vice chancellor’s office.

The number of Nigerians affected by flooding has risen to 2.5 million with 332,000 hectares of farmland now destroyed and 82,000 houses totally damaged.
Over 1.3 million persons are displaced out of the 2.5 million affected with 2407 injured and casualties now rising to 603.
The flooding in Nigeria has become a recurring issue as Cameroon opens its Lagdo Dam yearly to release excess water. There had been plans for Nigeria to build a buffer dam but it has not been completed since the 1980’s.
Meanwhile, Nigerian students have slowly begun to return to schools following the end of the ASUU strike last week.
The lecturers have however lamented lack of transport fare amongst other things, seeking payment of salaries during their 8 month strike action.
