Popular Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem, has lamented the outrageous amount of money she spends on water in a year at her Lagos mansion.
The actress who disclosed her pains via her Instagram stories pondered how a similarly expensive house could not have clean water.
She stated that it was a problem specific to the area of Lagos known as the island which is seen as an upper class location but still suffers from basic problems like lack of clean water.
She wrote:
I’m tired of buying water in Lagos & If I calculate the money I use in buying water a year, it can build a whole duplex. The whole island water is a mess! I don’t understand how someone can live in a mansion and not have clean water.
The admission by the actress has led to many comments including some from fellow celebrities.

This is coming as popular Nigerian influencer Papaya Ex also complained about going through 150 bags of sachet water in a month.
