Controversial social media activist, Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as Verydarkman has reacted to the revelation made by crossdresser, Bobrisky that he received donations from Nigerian celebrities while he was in jail.
Recall that Bobrisky who recently regained freedom from prison, rolled out a list of Nigerian celebrities who supported and donated millions of naira to him during his challenging time.
He was in April 2024, arrested and detained by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) in Lagos and was sentenced to six months without an option of a fine for abusing the Nigerian naira.
The crossdresser expressed heartfelt gratitude to actresses Funke Akindele, Moyo Lawal, Eniola Ajao, Omoborty, Tonto Dikeh, Sotayo Gaga, singers Niniola, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, socialite, Abu Abel, footballer Victor Osimhen and many more.
Bobrisky’s revelation did not sit well with many, including Verydarkman as they expressed dismay with the gesture by these celebrities.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Verydarkman said he has lost respect for every single person who donated money for the crossdresser, claiming that they are all encouraging crimes.
According to him, the money should have been donated to impoverished communities in Nigeria.
He said, “Bobrisky is not a Good Role Model, It Was Very Wrong For Popular Nigerian Celebrities to Contribute and Donate Almost N100Million to Bobrisky while he was In Prison, I have lost respect for every single Person who donated money to Bobrisky, The money should have been Donated to Impoverished Communities in Nigeria”.
