What Will Happen To Tinubu if Fubara Is Impeached (VIDEO)

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike regarding any attempts to impeach Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

In a recent video, Asari-Dokubo cautioned that such actions could lead to significant unrest in the state.

The warning comes amid escalating political tensions in Rivers State. The Supreme Court recently reinstated 27 lawmakers loyal to Wike, shifting the balance of power in the State House of Assembly.

These legislators had previously defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The court also directed the Federal Government to withhold financial allocations to Rivers State until Governor Fubara presents the state’s 2025 budget to the Assembly.

Asari-Dokubo spoke on his readiness to lead the Ijaw community in defending Governor Fubara, who is of Ijaw descent.

He warned that any attempt to remove the governor would be met with serious resistance from the Ijaw people.

He also extended his warning to the 27 lawmakers, led by Martins Amaewhule, who had given Governor Fubara a 48-hour ultimatum to present the state’s budget.

Asari-Dokubo cautioned that any move to initiate impeachment proceedings would provoke the Ijaw community’s anger.
