The senior pastor and founder of omega fire ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman, has cried out over criticism for his political choices.
The clergyman lamented that people chastised him for picking a candidate it also called him and other pastors out for staying neutral and choosing no one.
He pondered why it was a bad thing for him to pick a candidate alongside his family just as he did for the presidential election where he voted for Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
He also commended youths for keeping politicians on their toes and making them beg for votes rather than ignoring them.
He wrote:
There Is Something I Don’t Get..When
Things Are Bad In The Nation, They Call Out Pastors For Being Quiet..
When Pastors Speak, They Say Why Are They Being Factional..
I Want To Ask A Honest Question, As A Pastor Can’t I Have A Preferred Candidate For Me And My Family?
I am asking because my family members in lagos are asking me who they should vote for,if I say they should all vote @GRVlagos, people will say I have started again, that as a pastor / should support everyone..
So I won’t say anything…
I see so many leaders going about begging for votes. this is what they would naturally never do..
God bless you Nigerian youths for changing the narratives..
The ‘youths’ I am talking about know themselves..not those still endorsing leaders that put us in this current mess.
I know this period is harsh, terrible and turbulent for Nigerians. I see hunger everywhere.People can’t access their own cash.. Nigeria has NEVER had it this bad..
Be assured, GOD is aware and will send light at the end of this tunnel..
How you know mentally unstable pple is that their only response to an opinion is insults. If invectives is all you have to offer, it shows you are empty.
Present a superior argument, engage with more cogent propositions. I will NEVER support those who put Nigeria in this mess.
