‘Why Davido, Chioma did not hold wedding in Southeast’

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has revealed that singer Davido could not hold his wedding in the Southeast as tradition demands for the fear of unknown gunmen.

Recall that the Afrobeats artiste tied the knot with his heartthrob, Chioma Avril Rowland in a star-studded ceremony at Eko Hotel, Lagos on Tuesday.

However, many questioned why he did not hold the traditional marriage ceremony at Chioma’s compound in Imo State.

In a controversial Facebook post, Igbokwe linked the non-occurrence of the traditional marriage in the Southeast (SE) to security challenges allegedly posed by groups such as IPOB, ESN, and what he termed “known Gun Men.”
