The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha, has announced that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has not shown any interest in joining APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Okocha made this known while speaking on a live radio programme earlier today, as he downplayed claims that President Tinubu handed over the party’s structure to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

He added that Wike is a loyal and committed member of the PDP and thinking that the President is handling over APC structure to a PDP member will be missing the point.

He, however, concluded that Nigerians will be informed if Wike wants to join another political party that is different from PDP.
