Upcoming Nigerian act Berri Tiga, has reacted to the ongoing conflict over the Machala song which resulted from a collaboration with skit maker Carter Efe.
Berri while reacting to comments that Carter had called him ungrateful revealed that he’s initiating been offered only 5% from the earnings after which Carter and his colleague Sydney Talker had attempted to pay him off with 100 thousand naira.
Berri explained that his more recent song which seemed a diss to Carter on the entire saga was recorded much earlier than Machala and not a response to his former collaborator.
Recall that the dispute had risen when clear ownership of the song came under dispute with Berri stating that he’d sang and produced the entire song.
